Vodafone Automotive are based in Varese, Italy. The company was founded in 1975 under the name Delta Electronics. In 2004 they re-branded as Cobra Automotive Technologies, until 2015 when they announced a name change to Vodafone Automotive.

The 4800 Series is the new alarm and immobiliser range. All models share the same compact housing and can be configured to work as an alarm, an immobiliser, or both depending on vehicle specification.
4800 Immobiliser
The 4800 Series Immobiliser features automatic driver recognition which arms and disarms the immobiliser when in proximity. This works independently from the vehicle factory immobiliser or alarm system to add another later of protection.

All versions include a built-in tilt sensor.
