Vodafone Automotive PIN Code Disarm

What is a Vodafone Automotive PIN code?

All of the current range of Vodafone Automotive alarms feature an easy to enter over-ride PIN number. The correct PIN Code allows the alarm to be disarmed without the remote. This includes Cobra branded alarms dating back to around the year 2000.

The video shows how to enter the PIN code over-ride number:

The PIN code is 4 digits which can be custom programmed to a number of the owner choice. Just remember that there is no such “0” digit when asking your installer to change it.

The Pin number is also required to program new remote controls. This makes the alarm secure from remote cloning.

FAQ's

Normally the PIN Code is only used to disarm the alarm when the remote control fails to work.

The PIN Code can also be used to put the alarm in and out of Garage Mode

No.

The alarm needs to be powered up to work. Entering the PIN Code will not magically charge the car battery.

So long as you have a working PIN number you are able to change it. Please see your alarm user manual for instructions.

You should have been given the PIN number when the alarm was installed. If you are the 2nd owner check the vehicle documents, If you still don’t have it then contact your local Vodafone Automotive agent

That depends on the alarm settings. If  it is programmed for auto arming then you’ll need to use it every time you use the vehicle,

That depends: If you have a 4600 Series alarm (AK4698, AK4615, AK4627) or the new 4800 Series of alarm I can reset the number via my laptop. For security reasons, I can only do this if the alarm is disarmed.

If you have a 4100 Series alarm then I will need the alarm serial number and vehicle details.
