At first glance, the Viper 3102V looks very similar to the 3105V. It comes the same 4 button remote controls and the basic operations are the same, but there are some subtle differences between the two models.
First off I’ll point out what the 3102V lacks over the 3105V. It’s a dedicated one-way alarm so it can not be upgraded to work with a two way remote.
It’s not a big deal as it’s more cost effective to purchase a two-way alarm than to upgrade remote controls. Other than that the 3102V is a big step up in features so the lower model number seems misleading.

Better Siren Options
The main significant point of difference is that the 3102V will work with Vipers 1502T digital battery back-up siren. It also has a horn honk output which the 3105V misses out on.
More Auxiliary Outputs
The 3102V comes with 5 auxiliary outputs as opposed the 2 found on the 3105V. These can be operated via various remote button combinations and can be fully customised by your installer with the use of a Bit Writer programming tool.
Additional Features
In addition, the 3102V has built-in central locking relays as well as a built-in starter motor immobiliser relay (as opposed to an external relay). The alarm has an OEM alarm disarm output which can be useful for some vehicles and it also supports selective unlocking.
