Terms of Trade

Definitions

The term “Creditor” refers to “Obsessive Vehicle Security”. The terms “Debtor” and “Customer” refer to any company, partnership, or individual to whom the Creditor supplies goods and/or labour.

Ownership and Payment

All goods remain the property of Obsessive Vehicle Security, including the right of recovery, until the invoice is paid in full. Costs of recovery and/or interest may be charged on overdue accounts.

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing prior to commencement of work, all goods and labour are to be paid on the same date as the invoice is issued.

Interest and Collection Costs

In the event of any default in payment, penalty interest at the rate of three percent (3%) per month will be added to any unpaid balance from the date payment was due. All collection and/or legal costs incurred by the Creditor will be payable by the Debtor.

Contact Information Requirements

The Debtor shall notify the Creditor of any new contact details within seven days of any such change. However, if the Creditor is unable to contact the Debtor and part of the debt remains outstanding, the Debtor agrees to the release of any information by any person that may provide knowledge as to where the Debtor may be contacted.

Disputed Contracts and Accounts

All claims for disputed work on any grounds must be notified in writing within 14 days of our invoice date, otherwise they are waived. Interest may be payable on overdue accounts. All costs, fees, and disbursements incurred by the Creditor in recovering outstanding moneys shall be recoverable from the Customer, who also agrees to any third party providing the Creditor with the Customer’s contact details if requested.

Vehicle Database

Obsessive Vehicle Security maintains a record of all vehicles on a secure database. The information gathered will only be given to a third party if a debt remains outstanding. Under all other circumstances, it will remain confidential and be held solely for the purpose of customer service to cover you in the event of a warranty claim.
