The Teltonika GN8 is a CAN-BUS alarm and GPS tracker that offers 2-way communication via the Teltonika app. Being a CAN-BUS system the alarm works with the factory remote. The GN8 can also work with LIN-BUS on selected cars.

If your alarm is triggered then you’ll get a notification sent to your phone via the app. It will notify you which zone of the alarm has been breached and sound a siren sound through the phone speaker so you’ll instantly know it’s your alarm.
Forgot if you locked your car?
The Teltonika app allows you check the status of your car. You can arm and disarm the GN8 via your phone. It will lock and unlock your car just the same way as your remote control does.

Vehicle history record
The app keeps a record of all logged events for up to 10 days. This includes when the alarm is armed, or triggered through to each journey made.

GN8 GPS CAN-BUS alarm
The GN8 sends and receives data via the vehicle CAN-BUS. It also has analog inputs and outputs which can be used when certain “CAN controlled” functions are not available on specific vehicles.

The immobiliser is active when the alarm is armed (if fitted). On top of this the engine can be blocked for additional security.
The app allows you to block the engine from starting. It keeps the immobiliser turned on even when the alarm is disarmed. This prevents the vehicle from starting should the keys get stolen or misplaced.
The engine can be also be unblocked with the app.
