C Class Alarm System
If you own a (W204) C Class Mercedes Benz without an alarm then the Vodafone Automotive 4822 is the ultimate C Class upgrade alarm. It is as good, if not better then any factory-fitted option you could have.
It is rated as Thatcham Category 2-1. You can find the certification on the Thatcham website.
It’s also a fraction of the price from what you’d pay at the dealership to spec the vehicle with one at the time of purchase.
Top Class Security

Quality C Class upgrade alarm
One thing you don’t want on a Mercedes is a cheep looking aftermarket accessory. This is where having a quality alarm that integrates correctly with the vehicle is vital.
The 4822 is a very effective security system that is programmed to work with the existing Mercedes Benz remote smart-key.
Clever integration
If you arm the alarm and leave a window open, then the alarm will disable the ultrasonic sensors and give you a warning chirp to let you know. This way you’ll never get a false alarm or leave your windows open by mistake.
C Class alarm installation
Good functionality
Subtle details
The only thing you’ll see after the installation is complete is the alarm LED control panel mounted on the dash below the tachometer. All of the other alarm components are hidden.
Ultrasonic sensor installation perfection

Hidden alarm sensors – Super tidy
The C Class already has factory ultrasonic mounting positions, even if the car was not spec’d with an alarm.
The Vodafone Automotive sensors sensors simply slot into the factory holes as shown in the installation photos. It’s quite a satisfying job to do.
Once all the panels are clipped back into place it looks exactly the same as before, but the cabin is now protected.

Quality security and a tidy installation

Mercedes car alarm upgrade
The photos shown here a of the Cobra AK4615 CAN-BUS alarm installed in a 2012 C180.
The AK4615 alarm has now been replaced by the 4822 Enhanced CAN-BUS alarm. All the components (LED and ultrasonic sensors) remain the same.
The 4822 also works with the earlier version of the C Class (W203) as well as the newer model (W205) along with the current version (W206).
