- That the tracker is actually securely fixed inside the vehicle so it does not move and rattle. This is a must for a quality trackers the have built-in accelerometer such as the Vodafone Automotive SCD60. If it’s not fixed down the the tracker will give false impact alerts and simply not perform as well as it should. Besides which you don’t want a rattle in your car!

The alternative to this is simply chucking the tracker in the vehicle and taking very little care with the installation.
