Obsessive Website Updates.

alarm-flow-chartI’ve been working hard trying to make the Obsessive website easier to use. The Car Alarm page has had a revamp and now has a simple chart to make it easier to see what sort of alarm is the most suitable for your car.

It’s still work in progress so feel welcome to chuck your 10 cents worth in if you think I’ve missed something, or can improve it.

I’ve also found the time to update the About Us page. Something I’ve been meaning to do for about two or three years now, but just not got around to doing!

I’ve always wanted the website to be more personal so it’s clear who you are dealing with. It’s not like Obsessive is a big company with lots of staff. It’s just me after all!

I’m not a Schizophrenic!

Way back when the website first came into being I was advised that it would look better if I talked about “us” and “we” instead of “me”!

The theory being if I expanded and took on staff then I would not have to change the page.

The problem is that I don’t wish to take on staff as I’m too OCD about workmanship standards to trust anyone else!

I’ve also though it makes me sound like a schizophrenic referencing to myself as we!
Anyway, the page is now updated and even has a mug shot of myself! I’ve been doing my best to cull any references to “we ” or “us”, which has become a bit of a mission given how big the website has become!

Looking good there on the updates julian. i think as a business owner the terms “we” and “us” are used to create a better relationship between you, your business and your clients/potential clients. it makes customers feel like they are more valued and that you are not primarily going after their hard earned cash.

Also agreed that it’s hard to hire someone else to partake on jobs that you’ve put some much dedication and time into. TBH i’d be quite OCD too about high workman workmanship standards to hire anyone else. Afterall it’s what differentiates Obsessive Vehicle Security from the shoddy ones. The last thing you want on your plate is to fix someone else’s f*** ups where you could just do it once and do it right from the beginning. Have a great day!
