Today I installed a KE11 (Keyless Entry System) into a 2010 Mazda 3 (Axela). The KE11 remote controls share the same case (not internals) as some other Mazda cars so look the part.
They are also (in my opinion) the best on offer from Dynamco, not only are they are reliable and stand up to wear and tear well but actually have a separate lock and unlock buttons. Quite why Dynamco doesn’t do the same for their alarms is baffling!
Mazda 3 Remote
Anyway, as you’d expect, once installed correctly they do all the stuff that a genuine Mazda remote would. Lock, Unlock, indicators flash to confirm the action and an extended press of the unlock button opens to boot.
All for just $280.00 installed.
Mazda wanted $325.00 for a single replacement remote (so $650.00 for two would get you a good alarm system with new remotes included).
Seeing that my customer had just purchased his new car without any remote controls he decided it was a no-brainer.
The KE11 is suitable for most vehicles and prices start at $280.00 installed.
Note: The KE-11 remote will not work with the Mazda keyless entry without having a KE-11 module installed into the vehicle.
