NZSA Approved Dealers? LOL
AVS have recently Tweeted that;
“Star rated alarms are only valid if installed by an NZSA registered installer. If your installer is not registered your alarm has no rating!”
To True, however what I find amusing is that if you look at the list of AVS retailers on the AVS website many of those listed are not NZSA members! Continue reading

Installation Issues
About 9 months ago I had a five star AVS S5 alarm installed by a major Wellington car soundz company with its own workshop. I arrived for my pre-booked appointment to be told they were too busy to do my installation that day and I needed to rebook. AVS S3, S4, S5 & A4 Pin Code Over-ride
One thing which I forgot to mention about the updates AVS have introduced to the A4 and the S series is that they no longer come with the same default pin code over-ride. Each individual unit now comes with its own unique pre-set 5 digit number which has got to be a good thing. Continue reading
