Installers: Who do you recommend?

Good vehicle security installers are a rare breed and hard to find. I’m always getting asked if I can recommend someone outside of Wellington, to which I often point out that Wellington is slap bang in the centre of NZ … Continue reading

Obsessive Test Bench

Believe it or not, not all of my time is spent with my head buried under car dash boards tinkering with wires. Before that happens I have to be happy that the system I am going to install is good enough … Continue reading

Installation Issues

About 9 months ago I had a five star AVS S5 alarm installed by a major Wellington car soundz company with its own workshop. I arrived for my pre-booked appointment to be told they were too busy to do my installation that day and I needed to rebook. After the initial installation the car’s climate control, central locking and door ajar warning didn’t work properly. Continue reading
