"5 Star Alarms" fall short of high standards!
You need to be confident that your car is secure. However the existing recognised standards set in New Zealand fall along way short of what we believe to be acceptable.
As of the 1st April 2012 the New Zealand Security Association will no longer be forcing their outdated and compromised "5 Star Alarm" rating system upon us.
Our suggestion is to be wary of any claims of alarm systems being "Star Rated" and to check with your insurance company for what models they now accept.
